• LPTV is Lewis-Palmer Middle School's video production class. The purpose of the class is to create authentic broadcast experiences for students. Students will use digital technologies to produce broadcasts in a journalism environment and format that includes: student news, school activities, skits, informational segments, and photography. Students will work together in teams to produce the broadcasts, including pre-production, storylines, filming, editing, and post-production techniques and enhancements. Students will rotate in various production tasks which include: storyline ideas, scriptwriting, planning, camera operations, on-air productions, directing, audio, and post-production editing on the computer. Each month students will collaborate in crews to take a production to a broadcast that is shown to the student body. You will enjoy this class if you enjoy collaboration with peers, computers, cameras, skits, photography, videos, and can be creative.
