Tiffiney, her husband, Jason, and their three children have been involved members of the Tri-Lakes community since moving here in 2009. Two of their children attend Lewis-Palmer District 38 schools while their oldest, a Palmer Ridge graduate, currently attends Colorado School of Mines.
Tiffiney is a University of Northern Colorado alumnus with a BA in Communication. Her diverse background ranges from leadership in early childhood education and non-profit advocacy to marketing. She has been engaged in education for over 25 years, serving as a preschool teacher, director, and a parent volunteer and advocate. Tiffiney has been a dedicated volunteer in D38 for nine years, serving on PTO, SAC, and DAAC.
Prior to moving to Monument, Tiffiney served as the director of children’s ministries for a local church in Maryland and the sponsorship coordinator for a Colorado based non-profit organization. Tiffiney's career has also entailed marketing management in media and entertainment.
Tiffiney has a heart for service that has included autism advocacy, awareness, and fundraising with Autism Speaks and The Resource Exchange (alongside her eldest son, who is gifted with autism), women and orphan outreach in Jos, Nigeria, community service with Samaritan’s Purse, El Paso County and Colorado state civics organizations, HOA president, and she is the recipient of several leadership and service awards.
Tiffiney enjoys experiencing life with her family, backpacking, camping, fishing, skiing, traveling, gardening, dancing, and scrapbooking.
