• Biology is the study of life science with emphasis placed upon an ecological approach to principles involved with the study of life. The ecological approach allows for a study of the interrelationships that exist between plants and animals (including man) and their environments. Basic cell structure, cell physiology, zoology, and botany are considered, as well as animal and plant reproduction and heredity. Students must enroll in both A & B classes. Math prerequisites are required for Chemistry, which is the next course in science.
