Geometry is the study of the properties and relationships of plane and solid figures, points, lines and planes, similarity, and congruence. The student will develop logical thinking skills using problem solving and deductive reasoning. Algebra skills are integrated throughout the course. It is strongly recommended that incoming freshmen registering for Geometry have maintained a high B or better in Algebra 1. Students must register for both A & B courses. A scientific calculator, TI–30, will be used throughout the course. Students are expected to provide their own calculators.
