This page contains valuable information to get your child registered for athletics for this school year. There is a lot of info so please read the page in its entirety.
Fall sports begin on August 12th. EXCEPT OR GOLF which starts August 5th. (Golf Tryouts will be Tuesday August 6th at 1:50 to 2:20 pm and Wednesday August 7th at 3:10 to 3:40 pm 9 holes each day at King’s Deer GC.)
All registration paperwork must be completed and submitted to the athletic department prior to the start dates. Students who do not have paperwork in on time are at risk of missing try-outs and/or practice requirement to participate in scrimmages and contests. This may also have an impact on an athlete’s team membership.
There are two options to register your athlete.
1) Turn in signed hard copies of the required paperwork to the athletic office and only the student needs to create an account for eligibility on Planet HS (AKA Arbiter Athlete). Hard Copies are attached. If you use the hard copy option, we will simply acknowledge in your athletes account in Planet HS that paperwork has been turned in. No documents will be uploaded.
2) Complete all paperwork electronically online through Planet HS. Both a parent and student will need to create an account. This method requires electronic signatures from athletes and parent so accounts will need to be linked. I believe the only document upload for this option is the sports physical signed by a physician. If you do not wish to upload this document, we can accept this as a paper copy and acknowledge this in the athletes account.
Physical forms are good for one year. Please be sure physicals have not expired. If we have a current physical on file, it is still good until it expires.
Every student that participated last year should already have an account set up. Please do not create a duplicate account. If you forgot your username or password, please use the reset feature to regain access to your account. This goes for parents as well who used the online registration option.
All freshmen and transfer students that did not participate in Colorado will have to create an account. The account is a requirement by the CHSAA to track athlete eligibility.
When creating your account make sure you add Lewis-Palmer high school as your primary school. This is a crucial step in order for us to see your athlete in our database. If you participate in a district sport that is managed by Palmer Ridge, you will need to add Palmer Ridge as a secondary school so they can add you to their eligibility as well.

For athletes who are sophomore, juniors, and seniors that have transferred schools this school year, they and a parent must create an account to complete transfer paperwork. These accounts must be linked before transfer forms can be filled out. The CHSAA is no longer accepting paper copies of transfer forms and are requiring the completion online.
Please be aware that fees are not added automatically. Once your child registers with the Athletic Office or expresses interest in a sport, we will manually add the fee to their InfiniteCampus account. We usually base our rosters on who participated previously or have been given a list of names by the Head Coach.
If you see your child has a fee and is not participating, we will gladly remove it for you. Please email Victoria Lester at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Athletic Office at 719-488-4732.
All fees need to be paid before the first competition. We will refund any fee paid if your child is cut or chooses not to participate BEFORE the first competition. Once a student participates in a CHSAA sanctioned event, we will not refund any portion paid.
If you pay by check to the Athletic Office: We hold all checks until tryouts are done due to previous experience of athletes being cut or quitting soon after. We will process them once we see your student on a final roster or call you to determine if we should return your check or shred it. This will eliminate a six week wait period for a refund of your payment.

$165 - Cross Country and Track
$190 - Cheer, Poms, Field Hockey, Football, Gymnastics, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Baseball, and Lacrosse
$215 - Golf
$350 - Swim/Dive
$650 - Ice Hockey
Fees can be paid via check made out to "LPHS" and delivered to the Athletic Office or online with a credit card via Infinite Campus.
