D38 Deliberates: A Community Engagement Opportunity
The public is invited to this community engagement opportunity on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the District Administration Building. Two very important topics of interest to the D38 and Tri-Lakes communities will be addressed: future options for D38 6th grade students and use of the Grace Best facility. DAAC 6th Grade Public Forum
The D38 District Accountability Advisory Committee (DAAC) will be conducting a public forum on Tuesday, October 24, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss 6th grade options, specifically in regard to returning 6th grade to the middle school level. The public is invited to submit questions for consideration at this event. Send questions to DAAC@lewispalmer.org.
Monument Academy High School Expansion Application
Monument Academy Charter School has submitted the required application materials to expand enrollment to grades 9-12, beginning with ninth grade enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year. The application and supporting documentation are available for download here.
Upcoming Board of Education Election
Two LPSD school board director seats will be up for election in November 2017. These two seats - Director District 1 and Director District 3 - will be for 4-year terms. Details on candidate eligibility, the election process and timeline, and other important election details can be found here.
LPSD Finance Audit Results
Lewis-Palmer School District’s credit rating is again Aa2 which is above the nationwide school district median. Moody’s Investors Service, an independent credit rating agency, judged LPSD’s financial position as very strong exhibiting sound financial management.
