Mr. Tom Chapman
Mr. Tom Chapman is in his ninth year of teaching and his seventh in the Lewis-Palmer School District where he teaches beginning band and assists with secondary level band ensembles in six of the eight schools in the district. While in LPSD Mr. Chapman has taken the LPSD 6th Grade Festival Band to perform at the Colorado Music Educators Association Clinic and Conference in January, 2015 (the first beginning ensemble to be invited in over 20 years) and was awarded the Phi Beta Mu Kappa Chapter Outstanding Young Bandmaster Award in 2016.
Mr. Chapman earned his Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently pursuing a Masters of Music Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. When not teaching, Mr. Chapman enjoys performing around the Pikes Peak Region and spending time with his wife, Jen, and two dogs and cat, Penny-Lane, Watson, and Daisy.
